Caroline was born and brought up in South Wales and is very proud of her Welsh heritage. Her family are from Port Talbot, birthplace of such brilliant actors as Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, and her big cousin Michael Sheen.
Showbusiness runs in her family. Her parents had a keen involvement with the local amateur operatic society, her Uncle is a Jack Nicholson Lookalike, and her Great Great Grandmother was the first ever Lion Tamer and travelled from Wales to America with Barnum’s Circus.
She graduated with first class honours from Guildford School of Acting, after gaining a lot of performing experience with Gwent Young People’s Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Wales.
Her final year of studying was cut short when she was offered the role of Marty in the West End Production of GREASE.
Many more West End roles followed including Florinda in INTO THE WOODS at the Donmar Warehouse, Sophie (u/s) in the original cast of MAMMA MIA, Jennifer Gabriel in the original cast of THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, Eponine in LES MISERABLES, Sandy in GREASE, Truly Scrumptious in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.
Philia in the 2004 National Theatre production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, Susan Walker in ONCE IN A LIFETIME also at the National Theatre, the title role in MARY POPPINS on the first National Tour of the UK, and Clara Johnson in the European Premiere of THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.
Caroline has appeared on prime time television shows including HOTEL BABYLON and TORCHWOOD.
Her concert work has seen her perform alongside Michael Ball, Barbara Cook and Maria Friedman, in such venues as the Royal Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall, and the amazing Wales Millennium Centre.
Caroline has recently recorded her debut album RAISE THE CURTAIN which will be released on February 1st.
She can also be heard on the cast recordings of THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK and MAMMA MIA.

Caroline also enjoys sharing her experiences with students and can often be found teaching Masterclasses or Audition Technique at GSA, Arts Educational Schools, Sylvia Young Theatre School, the Mayflower Theatre, and the newly established Musical Theatre Academy.
She also teaches private students who wish to get into drama colleges and is proud to have had many successful applicants!
In addition to performing Caroline’s passions include reading, history, knitting and pandas.
Caroline is married to the actor Michael Jibson.
