CAROLINE JOINING LES MISERABLES AS FANTINE
The London cast of Les Miserables will see Caroline Sheen, Alexia Khadime, Craig Mather, Katy Secome, Liame Tamne and Lisa-Anne Wood join the company in principal roles. They will join the previously announced Aflie Boe, Hadley Fraser and Matt Lucas, all of whom will begin performances June 23.
Sheen, who will play Fantine, has previously appeared in Les Miserables as Eponine; she most recently played the title role in Mary Poppins on the UK and US tours. For the Washington, DC stand at the Kennedy Center, she won the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress. Other West End credits include creating the role of Jennifer Gabriel in The Witches of Eastwick, and starring in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the National Theatre.

HELEN HAYES AWARD WINNER
At the 27th annual Helen Hayes Awards celebrating excellence in Washington, D.C. theater, Caroline Sheen won Outstanding Lead Actress, Non-Resident Production for the title role in the 2010 Kennedy Center premiere of the MARY POPPINS North American Tour.  Her Debut Album RAISE THE CURTAIN has been very well received and has been getting wonderful reviews.
